Mirror Lines Technical Assistance Engineer (W/M)

Within the International Technical Department of SG Glass, your mission will be to manage the technical support for the Mirror lines.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring the performance of the mirror lines through the implementation and analysis of regular reports (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.):
  
  
  
  • Early detection of deviations in the results of the lines
  
  
  • Regular communication with the monitored lines
  
  
  • Monthly report writing for distribution to management
  
  
  • Benchmarking between lines to set objectives for different lines
  
  
  
  


• Implementation and monitoring of technical action plans:
  
  
  
  • Analysis of results in the form of bridge and Pareto of losses
  
  
  • Definition of actions to be implemented based on this analysis
  
  
  • Monitoring the implementation of defined actions with potential adaptation based on initial results through regular visits
  
  
  
  


• Animation of the mirror lines community:
  
  
  
  • Organization of exchange meetings
  
  
  • Organization of multi-site working groups based on similar topics for these sites (EHS, technical, organizational, etc.)
  
  
  • Regular visits to the lines to review results and action plans
  
  
  
  


• Working in partnership with R&D and quality teams (central and local)


• Implementation of Best Practices and conducting audits related to safety, quality, and processes


• Application of continuous improvement methods (World Class Manufacturing) to expertise missions (participation and implementation of WCM projects, review of WCM factory projects, definition of objectives and projects with factories, etc.).


• Organization and participation in support during the start-up of a new line: visit of central technical experts or experts from other lines, support from experienced operators from other lines, etc.


• Assistance in the transfer of new products to the mirror lines: defining tests, conducting and analyzing results

This position demands between 40 to 100 days of travels per year.
